Corporate donations make a significant impact on our communities. Just ask the Hall Group!
The Hall Group, a large real estate developer in Dallas, was moving headquarters. As their team began planning the move, they found that removing all of their furniture from the building was going to cost over $250,000. On top of the hefty removal fee, they found that all of their unwanted office furniture would end up in a landfill once it was removed from the office.
Unable to cope with the expenditure, they reached out to Habitat ReStores who worked with the Hall Group to coordinate a colossal move over several months.
The Restore loaded 43 semi-trucks full of office furniture, TVs, building supplies and more to sell in the Dallas ReStores.
The Hall Group saved a quarter-million dollars in moving cost, donated to a greater cause, and received over $100,000 in corporate tax breaks. ReStore used their unwanted furniture to invest hundreds and thousands of dollars back into the local community. A win-win.
