Since 1991, Habitat Women Build volunteers from all over the world and from all walks of life have come together to build stronger, safe communities. Today, our neighborhoods are comprised largely of women and children, and there are unique challenges these women will face on their journey to financial independence. Dallas Area Habitat serves thousands of clients each year; 69% are women head of household and 41% of those women are single moms. This is why Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity is embarking upon our third year of WOMEN BUILD DALLAS and we are inviting you to join us as we invest in the future of these women.

WOMEN BUILD DALLAS is seeking strong, passionate members from our community to invest in the women and families who are on a journey to financial independence through homeownership. Our collective goal is to raise $500,000, to provide new affordable home construction, neighborhood empowerment, and financial education for these determined women. Are you ready to BUILD WITH US?

2022 Women Build Dallas Chair

Martina McIsaac
Region Head and Chief Executive Officer
Hilti North America

Martina McIsaac is CEO of Hilti North America, leading a business with 4,000 team members, headquartered in Plano. She was promoted to this role in January 2020 after a three-year tenure as general manager of Hilti Canada. Martina is a member of the Hilti Group executive management team.

Martina is an advocate for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within Hilti and in society. She is a signatory to the Catalyst CEO Champion for Change pledge, a member of the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Women of Tocqueville Society, a member of the Texas Women’s Foundation’s Economic Leadership Council and is a board member of both the Collin County (TX) Business Alliance and the Dallas Independent School District Education Foundation.

Since becoming CEO, Hilti North America was named to the Glassdoor Best Places to Work for 2022, Fortune Top 20 Best Large Workplaces in Texas for 2022, and 2021’s Fortune 100 Best Large Companies to Work For in America. The organization has a 100% rating on the Corporate Equity Index.

Prior to joining Hilti, Martina worked 15 years in general management positions at Avery Dennison, a Fortune 500 global materials science and manufacturing company. Those roles moved Martina to Mexico, Argentina, Chile, the US and Canada and provided her with vital P&L responsibility leading international operations, business development and marketing divisions.
