Who is eligible for this Home Repair Program?
A homeowner living in Dallas or Kaufman County that meets income eligibility requirements and lives in the home they are requesting repairs for as their primary residence.
What kind of repairs can this program assist with?
The repair program can help with minor to moderate repairs, such as painting, lawn care, siding, etc.
Can I request repairs for my rental property?
No, you can only request repairs for the home that you own and occupy as your primary residence.
Is there a cost to participate in the program?
The program offers repairs at low or no cost to eligible homeowners. Depending on your income level, you may be asked to contribute a portion of the repair costs. Any contributions will be discussed and agreed upon prior to starting the work.
How long does the process take?
