WOMEN BUILD
DALLAS 2021

Women Build is a community of strong, dedicated women, coming together to be a force for good in ourselves and in our communities.

Since 1991, Habitat Women Build volunteers from all over the world and from all walks of life have come together to build stronger, safer, communities. Today, our neighborhoods are comprised largely of women and children, and they are the most likely to be affected by poor living conditions. Dallas Area Habitat serves thousands of clients each year and 69% of those are women single head of household and 41% are single moms. This is why Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity is embarking upon its Inaugural year of WOMEN BUILD DALLAS.

Women Build Dallas 2021 is seeking strong empowered committee members to work alongside their sisters as they begin their journey to financial independence and, eventually, as they achieve the dream of homeownership. Our goal is to raise funds that will support hundreds of women in our targeted neighborhoods. The funds we raise will provide new affordable home construction, neighborhood revitalization, and financial education for these determined women.

Women Build keeps members engaged all year long. Through an online community of curated conversation and through networking and social events. No experience is necessary and volunteers will work under the guidance of construction professionals. Whether you are learning new skills or simply adding a few to your tool belt, this is a rewarding experience for all involved and improves the community that you share.
