This year, issues of housing, racial justice, voting rights, and equity have been highlighted by the COVID-19 pandemic and resurgence of Black Lives Matter movement. At Dallas Habitat, we know how important these issues are and how they can impact affordable housing.

Our first ever Advocacy Day on September 24th will be held at 11am. This virtual event will discuss the following important issues:

  • What’s on the ballot? The 2020 elections landscape and registering to vote
  • Racial justice and equity
  • Affordable housing and local policies to be aware of
