General Appliance Donation

Whether you’re renovating your home or office, or it’s just time for an upgrade, buying new appliances always comes with an issue–what do you do with your old appliances?! If they’re in good working order, it’s a terrible waste to toss them in the landfill. Instead, consider donating them for a good cause!

The Benefits of Donating Your Appliances to Habitat for Humanity Dallas

Make an Impact in the Dallas Community

Your gently-used appliances can make a positive impact on the Dallas community when you donate them to Habitat for Humanity Dallas. All donations to Habitat go straight to our ReStore. And the profits from the ReStore are used to help build homes for deserving families in our community!

Appliances are always in high demand, so you can rest assured that your donation will be put to good use! Help a deserving family achieve their dreams of homeownership by donating to Habitat for Humanity.

All Donations are Tax-Deductible

All appliance donations to Habitat for Humanity are completely tax-deductible. When you make your donation through drop-off or pick-up, we’ll provide you with a receipt to include in your tax return.

Appliances are big-ticket items, so make sure you get that receipt! This is especially true for businesses making bulk donations. You could save up to hundreds of thousands of dollars in tax deductions!

Pick Up Is Free

When you donate large items to Habitat, pick up is always free! All you have to do is move your appliance to an easy-to-reach area like your garage or yard by the scheduled pick up date and we’ll haul it away for you free of charge!

Hiring a service to haul large appliances to the landfill can cost hundreds of dollars–thousands if you have a whole office-worth to unload! Save yourself the time, money, and frustration by giving Habitat a call!

Schedule your pick up here.

Environmentally Friendly

Donating your unwanted and gently-used appliances to Habitat keeps them out of the landfill. It also means they’ll be upcycled in a new home, reducing the footprint that comes with buying new.
